Do I Need An Appointment?

The Suite works by appointment only in order to give each bride our undivided attention, privacy and service. 

You do require appointments to try on wedding gowns, bridesmaids and accessories. 

Saturdays are the most popular days and do book out quickly weeks in advance. If you can come to us on a weekday or Thursday evening we highly recommend this.

Our bridal and bridesmaids appointments are €20

How Long Are Appointments?

Appointments are up to one hour long.

All  sample gowns are out on the floor for browsing and we have found that one hour is the perfect amount of time for a consulation with us.

What is the price range of wedding dresses?

Price range of gowns currently stocked in store made to order is €2500-€6000. On average most dresses in store range between €3000-€4000 made to order

We also offer a small selection of sample gowns, that change throughout the year, available to buy off the rack €900-€2000. Please enquire when booking your appointment if you would like to look at sample gowns during your appointment.

How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?

We normally recomend to bring 1-2 people with you for your first visit. You trust their opinion and they know you well. 

You can also bring other people back with you when you have chosen the style you love.

What is a trunk show/designer weekend?

The Suite carries an edited selection of each designer's collection. During a trunk show we carry a an extended selcetion of gowns from a particular designer for a weekend only or designated time.

Sometimes the deisgner themseleves or a representative will be here during that weekend to help advise you on your dress or make any custom changes. 

The trunk show only lasts a couple of days, and appointments fill up quickly, so we reccomend you book early if one of your favorite designers will be visiting The Suite.

Discounts normally can apply during the trunk show dates.

When should I order my wedding dress?

Our dresses can take 5-6 months to produce. When you factor in delivery into store and alterations, it could be a 8-9 months total process. We normally suggest ordering your dress at least 9 months prior to your wedding date, so that you have plenty of time for fittings and accessorizing.

There are rush order options with some of our designers for weddings under 6 months. Rush order fees can sometimes be applied and not all designers can offer a rush order. Please contact us for more information if your wedding is less than 6 months and we can offer guidance with what designers and dresses are possible to place a rush order with.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Take some time to look through magazines for ideas, our website and facebook page too see the designers and styles we stock. This will give you a general idea of what you like in a wedidng dress and which designers and styles you like from our store. This will help us get started in the selection process, although be open minded and your consultant may also have some recommendations too on the day.

We also highly reccomend you have an idea of budget and price range you would like to spend on your wedding dress and tell your consultant at your appointment or before when booking . This way your consultant can advise best for you and work with you within this. This will make your appointment with us as productive as possible and help you find your perfect wedding dress too.
